My journey with animals began long before it became my career. From childhood, I was drawn to them — their needs, their language, and the profound bond they share with us.

Over 25 years ago, I channeled that passion into purpose by becoming a certified professional trainer, initially focused on helping shelter dogs overcome behavioral challenges and find their forever homes. That work shaped everything that followed.

Two animals changed the trajectory of my approach entirely: Tucker and Aphrodite. Guiding them from puppyhood through adulthood, into their senior years, and ultimately through death taught me more than any certification ever could. Caring for them at every stage opened my eyes to the limitations of conventional pet care and led me down the path of holistic methods, fresh feeding, and root-cause thinking. They are the reason I do this work. I never looked back.

For 10 years, I built and ran a comprehensive pet care facility — and in 2021, I sold my share to do the work that matters most to me: helping pets thrive through positive training, real nutrition, low-stress living, and a prevention-first mindset that works alongside veterinary care.

My household today reflects exactly the kind of complex, multi-species love that brought me to this work. I share my home with two American Bullies, three turtles, two tortoises, five guinea pigs, and two goldfish — each one with their own unique needs that found their way to me for a reason. They are my greatest teachers.
