Many pet parents who switch to home-prepared diets discover their dog or cat doesn't tolerate beef, pork, or organ meat. Itchy skin, GI upset, ear infections, hot spots — all classic signs of a protein sensitivity. For these pets, our Holistic Total Body Support multivitamin (which uses pasture-raised glandulars) isn't the right fit.

That's why we built this.

Daily Wellness Formula delivers the same premium nutrient forms as Holistic Total Body Support — methylated folate (L-5-MTHF Ca) instead of folic acid, chelated bisglycinate minerals, active P5P / R5P / methylcobalamin B-vitamins, tocotrienol vitamin E — but with no beef, pork, or organ-derived ingredients.

The plant base — alfalfa as the primary source — provides chlorophyll, trace minerals, and bulk to round out the formula. Add it to your pet's home-prepared, raw, canned, or kibble diet to help meet daily nutritional requirements when organ meat isn't on the menu.

Why the forms matter.

A multivitamin is only as useful as the body's ability to absorb and use what's in it. The forms we chose, compared to what's standard in lower-cost pet multis:

Choose Daily Wellness Formula if: your pet has shown sensitivities to beef, pork, or organ meat — itchy skin, GI upset, ear or paw issues that flare with these proteins.

Choose Holistic Total Body Support if: our pet tolerates beef and pork well, and you want the additional cofactor support that pasture-raised glandulars provide.

Made for cats, too.

Cats are obligate carnivores. Unlike dogs, they cannot convert beta-carotene from plant sources into the active form of vitamin A — they require preformed vitamin A in their diet, full stop. That's why this formula uses retinyl palmitate at a low, measured dose (0.1 mg per serving): it's the form cats can actually use.

This matters even more for a glandular-free formula: a cat eating a home-prepared diet without organ meat has no other dietary source of preformed vitamin A. AAFCO standards for cat food explicitly require it.

FAQ ABOUT THE PRODUCT

We've got you covered. Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions, providing you with all the details you need about this product and its benefits for your pet.

Same premium nutrient forms — chelated minerals, methylfolate, active B-vitamins, tocotrienol vitamin E. The difference: Daily Wellness Formula has no glandular ingredients (no spleen, liver, adrenal, etc.). It's designed for pets who don't tolerate beef, pork, or organ meat. If your pet does tolerate those proteins, Holistic Total Body Support provides additional cofactor support from pasture-raised glandulars.

Common signs include itchy skin, hot spots, recurring ear infections, GI upset (diarrhea or vomiting), and excessive paw licking that flares when these proteins are in the diet. The most reliable way to confirm is an elimination diet under the guidance of an integrative or holistic veterinarian. If your pet has had any of these symptoms on a beef- or pork-based diet, this formula is worth considering.

Cats are obligate carnivores and lack the enzymatic ability to convert beta-carotene from plants into active vitamin A. They require preformed vitamin A (retinyl palmitate or similar) directly in the diet. AAFCO standards for cat food explicitly require preformed vitamin A for this reason. The dose in this formula (0.1 mg per serving) is calibrated to be appropriate for both dogs and cats.

Alfalfa serves as a clean plant-based source of chlorophyll, trace minerals, and bulk in this glandular-free formula. It's a common ingredient in herbal pet products. If your pet has a known alfalfa sensitivity (rare, but it happens with legume-sensitive pets), this formula isn't the right fit — and you should let us know so we can recommend an alternative.

Premium nutrient forms cost meaningfully more than the cheap synthetic versions. Methylated folate is 10–20× the cost of folic acid. Bisglycinate-chelated minerals are several times more than oxides. We use the more expensive option across the board.

Multivitamins generally don't interact significantly with most medications, but you should always check with your veterinarian — particularly if your pet is on thyroid medication, anticoagulants, or chemotherapy.

Most pet parents report visible improvements (coat quality, energy, appetite) within 30–60 days of consistent daily use. Some pets respond faster, some slower, depending on the starting nutritional baseline.
