Elizabeth, Thank you so much for working with Henry and me. You read the information page I filled out for him and were able to make recommendations for a basic recipe to use with him. I know it took me a bit of time to get it together and make the food but he loved it and I do too. Most of the ingredients were things I had in the kitchen already. The supplements you suggested were available on Amazon. At our second zoom meeting you sent me another recipe with turkey and a holiday turkey recipe – both of which he loved. And you asked me to add a sardine to his bowl every day. Well that is his afternoon treat now and he loves it. Thank you for the reminders to give him keifer or yogurt everyday as his bed time snack. After our next meeting I received another recipe for him to try. And with your current suggestions I think it will be another favorite. Henry’s coat has become shiny and soft and he has lost 2 lbs. so far. I have been working on weight loss with him since I adopted him but this is the first time we have been successful. The other day I was checking his feet and realized how very soft and smooth they had become. He has more energy and has almost totally stopped chewing on his feet. I can’t thank you enough for the way you offer suggestions after we discuss Henry’s issues. I will probably be consulting with you as he continues on the program but you have given us a very healthy foundation for continuing good health. Thank you.
